Hi I'm Stefanie

I'm a graphic designer, work-at-home-mom, loving wife, and a great cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up performing in our family's country western show. I am the youngest of six kids. After high school I moved to Orange County, CA to go to graphic design school. I now live in Chandler, AZ with my awesome husband and two crazy kids. I'm a full-time mom, graphic designer, wife, chef, sister, & friend. I love spending time with my family, getting away on date nights with my husband, watching movies, checking out cool & unique restaurants, baking & cooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess in the beginning it was by default. I come from a long generation of mormons going back to the original pioneers that crossed the plains. But as I became a teenager I quickly had to find out for myself if this faith was for me. Growing up in Los Angeles, I saw a lot of terrible things happen around me. Gang fights at school, kids getting drunk on the weekends, friends getting pregnant, and I had to decide if I wanted to be apart of that all. I didn't. I knew that my life would be happier and fuller if I could strive to following the teaching of Jesus Christ. I knew through Him, I could find peace when I was scared, direction when I confused, & redemption when I messed up. While in college I had a brief period in time that I didn't follow the teachings of the Savior the way I should have and that feeling of despair, loneliness & guilt was too much to bear. I knew that if I would repent that the Savior would take away my burdens and make me whole again. Not too long after this experience I met my husband. I could see that the Lord had prepared us for each other. The day that I was able to marry him, and be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity was the best day of my life. I knew the Lord was pleased with us. Through out our marriage, we have found that the times when things are at their best, are the times that we are listening to the words of the Savior, doing whats right and keeping the commandments. Bottom line, my life is whole when I walk with the Savior. I need him by my side more then I can ever express in words. He is my rock and my redeemer. I give praise and thanks to him daily for my blessings & my life.

How I live my faith

Simply put, I try to follow the example of the Savior. I treat people with kindness and respects (those in my faith & out), I try to give back monetarily and in service, I attend church each Sunday, I go to the temple as often as I can, I pray daily, I'm teaching my children the importance of prayer & trying to teach them the principles of obedience that we find in the scriptures.
