Hi I'm Marni

I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I grow up in Utah and I am the oldest of 10 children. I am married to a wonderful guy, from Idaho and we have 3 boys and 1 girl. I do hair and babysit children. I love to exercise, work in the yard, organize, take pictures and do projects. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love watching a good movie with my family and my bowl of popcorn and crystal light drink. I would like to vacation more with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Mormon, so I grow up as a Mormon. Over the years I have prayed and studied the scriptures and have been touched by the spirit and have gained my own testimony. My testimony has been strengthened even more through trials, service and examples of others. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love the lifestyle and the values that are taught. I love the spirit I feel when I am following the counsel given. I know this Church is true and I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for the opportunity that I have to be a member. I am grateful for the plan of salvation and the opportunity we have to live with our families forever. I am grateful to Jesus Christ for his sacrifice so that we can repent and return to live with our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith helped to restore the gospel here to the earth. And I know that President Monson is a true prophet that leads and guides our church today.

How I live my faith

I work with the children in the church. They have a strong spirit about them. In our last General Conference meeting. Jean A. Stevens said: " These precious children of God come to us with believing hearts. They are full of faith and receptive to feelings of the Spirit. They exemplify humility, obedience, and love. They are often the first to love and the first to forgive." Sometimes I learn more from these children then they do from me. I want to become more like a child, and be more receptive to the Spirit. I know as we listen more to the spirit and serve others we will be an answer to others prayers. I know that my prayers have been answered by the service of others.
