Hi I'm Leonie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved over to Australia with my family when I was 17. I have now lived in this sun blessed country for almost 14years! Although for me there is no place like home, home is also where your heart is and mine is with my family. I am the very proud mother of three on-the-go boys, my oldest has just turned 8 and I have twin 6 year olds....life is busy! I have a wonderful husband who not only takes care of our family but also remembers that amongst our busy life I am still Leonie.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and no that doesn't mean life has been easy. There have been many ups and downs and times I lost focus on where I wanted to go but through all that there have been two things that have remained constant throughout my life...my family & the gospel of Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine my life without either of those two things, each bring me more happiness, love, joy and strengthen than I could every put into words. I am a Mormon because I want to be, I have no doubt this is where I am meant to be.

How I live my faith

I love to serve, whether it's my family, friends, complete strangers or in church callings I find myself most happy in the service of others. I have been blessed with many opportunities to serve in various areas in the church, each experience has taught me eternally valuable lessons that have helped shape my testimony. Juggling family life and church responsibilities can be hard, but I have witnessed firsthand how the Lord blesses families and individuals when they are in the service of others. I know the Lord prepares the way for us, he knows our potential and will provide opportunities for us to reach it, we just need to take it. My husband and I work hard to make our home happy, uplifting and a refuge for our family and for all who enter our doors.
