Hi I'm Laren Robinson

I'm married to a wonderful wife, we have 5 outstanding children, currently we have 12 incredible grandchildren and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father and grandfather. I work in the garage door industry. My hobbies include working with wood, fixing things, building things and working in the yard, camping and other outdoor things. I grew up in farm country but for the last 30+ years have been a city dweller. I enjoy watching balloons fly overhead, taking pictures of my grandchildren and watching them grow. I am left-handed, I have hardly ever ridden a horse and I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon. Initially it was because my parents were. I then decided for myself and never stopped. I grew in my understanding of the Church and the Spirit on my mission. Now that I am a husband and father I have learned what commitment and dedication means. Having the opportunities to use the Priesthood to bless my children and wife have truly been some of my most wonderful times. To be able to have the Spirit of God in your home and know that He is helping you is truly amazing. The Church has the fullness of the Gospel in general and in the details. I know that Joseph Smith actually had the vision of God and Jesus Christ. That began the restoration of truth again on the earth. I know that through prayer we can communicate to Heavenly Father and receive answers to our questions and get help for our needs and loved ones. I know God lives and anyone can, that humbles themselves and listens.

How I live my faith

I am a husband and father. My wife and I have been married for 40 years and have 5 grown children and 12 grandchildren. I have worked with the youth for many of those years. I have served as a Scoutmaster twice and been called to work with all the age groups from 11 to 18 years old. I have also been a counselor to a Bishop and served in the administration of the congregation. I have also worked as a leader of adult men from time to time and taught lessons in Sunday School. I enjoy serving others and helping them in ways that I am able. I guess you could say that I "live" my religion. It's not just something that I do on Sunday but, it is who I am and it is what I do. The Gospel of Christ is a whole experience. I am a Mormon and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
