Hi I'm Kason

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

By day I work as a pension actuary in Seattle, coming home to a great little family. I served the church as a missionary for 2 years in the Dominican Republic. I majored in mathematics and statistics at BYU-Idaho, and BYU in Provo. Aside from working and spending time with my family, I can't get enough of listening to and performing all types of music. Someday I hope to have driven through every state, and traveled all around the world. Mostly, I just love being a husband and a dad!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know it's true! I've received a complete conviction of the truth by way of personal study and prayer. That conviction is so strong that it has provided a constant guide to me throughout my life. Whenever I begin to doubt that "it's all worth it", I'm able carry on because I know that someday I'll be able to live in complete peace with my family forever. Remaining active in the church has provided me with constant reminders of the good news that is the gospel, and it has also introduced me to hundreds of people that have become life long friends. Living the principals of the gospel has kept me on a path that has lead to true happiness.

How I live my faith

As a father, I have a huge responsibility to provide a good example to my kids. I also try my hardest to stay positive and happy among my co-workers. Stressful days at work are made much easier when the good things are accentuated. I serve in the church as the Mission Leader of our congregation. Through that calling I've been able to visit many members and non-members, and have found true friends among them. It is so great to share my Mormon beliefs with my wife and kids, it not only brought us together, but it helps keep us together, not just here on earth, but for all eternity. If it weren't for my wife, I would be lost, and if it weren't for the church, we would never have met. The church has given me the tools I need to be a better husband and father, and I try my hardest to use them to perfect our little family.
