Hi I'm Rachel

I am a wife, mom, and a small town family girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in Arizona. I started beauty school half way through my junior year in high school. I graduated high school and wanted to move to the big city. Which makes me a beauty school drop out. I could of stayed and finished beauty school but I felt like I needed to move to the city. Two weeks after I moved I met my husband. He is a red neck hillbilly who loves the out doors as much as I do.He was also born and raised in a smaller town then myself. We have 2 fun energetic kids which I love. I grew up always wanting a crazy family. I like noise and kayos. I hate it when my house is quiet. I love it when people come over. I love to cook , sew, craft and spend time with my family. I also love playing sports. Volleyball is my favorite. I came from a large family and would like to have at least 6 kids of my own. When I first started dating my husband he would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I always told him a mom. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be able to be a stay at home mom. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church my whole life. It has always felt right to me. The most important thing to me is family. There has been no grater joy to me then having a family of my own knowing that we could be together forever. I have felt the happiest in my life when I know I am following the teachings of the prophets and keeping the commandments. There has been many circumstances where prayer has played a big part in my life. I love knowing I always have the lord to turn to when I need help and guidance. I love having the priesthood in my home and having priesthood leaders all around. I have a testimony of the atonement of Jesus Christ and the sacrifices he made for us so we can live with him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving service. I love helping people. I am not one who can say no very often. I love going to different church activities. Relief Society is such an amazing organization that I feel will always be there for times of need. I love being part of a ward family which I have developed many friendships in. I am the building scheduler for our building. I love knowing the different events that go on and being apart of helping people with there activities. It's so nice having visiting teachers who come and check up on me it is always nice to have people stop by and visit and share a message. I fall short in many ways but I try my best to stay on track and do what is taught by the leaders in our church.
