Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Utah. I was married in 2008 and now live in Arizona where I'm a wife, mother and makeup consultant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a born and raised Utah Mormon. I met my husband online and we were married in 2008. He has 2 kids from a previous marriage and I have a son. Our kids are 13, 11 and 5. We live in Arizona. Even with the HOT summers I love it. I am living my life-long dream as a stay-at-home mom. For fun I work as a part-time makeup consultant and really enjoy it. I love to travel as much as I can. Even if its just to a hotel for the night, I love to getaway.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I Mormon? Besides being raised in the faith, I truly got to decide whether or not I wanted to be one. When I was around 20 years old I decided to lay off it for a while. Experience the "real world" so to speak. I continued down this path for 5 years. I went occasionally but not faithfully. The church has always been true in my heart, but my head was wanting to rebel a little. I ended up having a baby and that's when my testimony was put to the test. My family, Bishop and fellow Ward members rallied around me and really helped me through the difficult times I was facing of being a single mom. At this point I really got to pray and realize that being a Mormon wasn't just something my parents wanted for me. I felt that burning desire to be one! I am so grateful I chose to come back and be stronger than before. Life really is easier when you have the Lord on your side. I know this because I've lived it. I know what its like to be alone. I hated it. I hated myself. But then I turned it all over to my Savior and said, "Take it. I can't do this alone." When I was married I had to move to Arizona where I knew no one. I left everything I knew to be with someone. I love my husband dearly but if it weren't for the amazing people in our church that have befriended me I don't think I would be able to say I love living here. They've made me feel at home, almost as if I never left Utah. How lucky am I?

How I live my faith

In our ward I get to serve as the Primary Secretary. Primary is where the children come to learn about Christ and His church through music and lessons. I love being in Primary. It's so fun to listen to the children sing their hearts out every Sunday. I also love the ladies I get to serve with. Talk about amazing women.
