Hi I'm Brittany

I'm a wife to an amazing husband. I am a mom of two adorable, busy little kids. I do hair. I love to cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Arizona native. I'm still not used to the heat. I am married to my best friend and we have two great kids that keep our lives from ever growing dull. I went to college, got my BS degree and then decided to go to beauty school. I've been doing hair ever since and I love it; especially since it allows me to work from home and be with my babies. I enjoy cooking and baking. I'm constantly trying out new recipes and try to find any excuse to make something yummy. I love being outside and just playing and being active. I'm trying to learn how to "love" running and am working towards a half marathon. I play the cello. I love to read. I absolutely love surrounding myself with my family and friends. They always make me laugh, they always make me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are LDS so I grew up in the Mormon church. I always strove to live by the gospel principles and values I was taught and eventually gained my own testimony of the gospel, and my Savior Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important thing in my life. I know that it is only through our Heavenly Father's plan that I can be truly happy and be with my family forever. The Atonement of our Savior is what makes it possible for me to be forgiven so that I can return to my Heavenly Father again. The gospel makes sense. It brings me more happiness and joy than anything else ever could. The more I learn and the more I try to live righteously and be like Jesus Christ, the more I know how true the church is, and how important it is to live by its teachings.

How I live my faith

Currently I work with the 10 and 11 year old girls in my ward. We meet twice a month and have a little lesson about a gospel-related topic. We always follow it up with some fun game or activity. I feel very blessed to work with these girls, they are such a fun, sweet age. I am also a visiting teacher. Once a month I go with another woman from my ward and we visit three other women. It's a great opportunity to get to know each other, build friendships, as well as help strengthen each other.
