Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a singer, a writer, an adventurer. I am a happy person. I am a busy body and a dreamer. But most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy life. I fill every possible moment of the day. I try to travel as often as I can. My family means the world to me. I come from a big family but I would not have it any other way. Music is a huge part of my life. I sing and play a little. In the spare time I have I am an avid reader. I am also a writer.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon, born and raised. But the reason I am a Mormon is because I know with all my heart that it is true. I have a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. I know that He loves me unconditionally. I know that he hears me and he answers me when I pray, even when it is not the answer I am looking for. I know that He will be there for me through everything that I go through. I know that he is a just and merciful God. I know that he knows me and what I can handle. I know that he will not give me more than I can handle. I know that I am his daughter. I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I know that he is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that he suffered in Gethsemane and died on the cross at Calvary so that I may be able to return to my Father in Heaven. I know he would have done all of this even if I were the only one he could save. I know that Jesus is my older brother and my advocate with the Father. He is one of my best friends. I know the Church is true. I know that I am truly blessed with the knowledge that has come from being a Mormon. Everything that has happened in my life, the good and the bad, has given me the knowledge I have and the conviction of living it in my every day life. Would I change anything in my past, no. I am who I am because of my belief and my choices. Having The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in my life makes me happy. It is a choice, it is a life style, but it is a part of who I am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best that I can. I am at church every Sunday. I live so that others know what my beliefs are. I try to be an example to everyone around me. I serve in whichever way is needed. I enjoy the projects I love visiting the sisters I visit teach and serving them. They bring light into my life as I share time with them.
