Hi I'm Brooke

I've lived in Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, California and Texas. I am a court reporter. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a new mom to a sweet little girl. I am a court reporter and love working in the courtroom. I love making bows/headbands and am starting my own Etsy business selling them. I love to make crafts. I love to decorate.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has always made me feel good! The organization of the church amazes me! The Church is set up so that every person is taken care of. Nobody is forgotten! I never feel alone and know that there's always someone that I can talk to or lean on. I often find myself looking around me as I drive through my neighborhood just in awe of the world. It's so beautiful and there are so many things to be thankful for. Just by looking around me, I know that I am loved and so blessed. God loves me. He loves my family. He loves everybody...every single person. It took me and my husband four and a half years to get pregnant. I always wondered if I'd ever be able to be a mom. I had always known that I wanted to be a mom, but I always wondered if I would ever be able to. It would make me so sad to never be a mom in this life. I prayed and prayed and prayed that I would someday be able to. Two days before I took my state exam to become a court reporter, I found out I was pregnant! I was ecstatic and scared at the same time. But I've learned the Heavenly Father knows what he's doing. He has timed things perfectly! He loves me and knows what's best for me. I know that this is the true Church. I have seen it and I have felt it. I have no doubt.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I help with the primary kids, which are ages 3 to 11. They are a blast. I love watching them sing! I also visit with specific sisters once a month and get to know them and make sure everything is going well for them. I make sure they don't need anything and if they do, I do my best to help. In fact, one of the ladies that I regularly visit had a baby four days ago and I made her dinner tonight and took it over there for her and her husband and two other boys. This year, I am also in charge of making a project for our Super Saturday event, which is basically when a bunch of ladies get together and do crafts, etc. I am so excited about that. I made a faux bubblegum machine out of clay pots and a glass bowl. It's going to be a candy dish.
