Hi I'm Justin.

I'm an asipring doctor. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the small town of Morgan, Utah. There I grew to love the outdoors and all this beautiful earth has to offer. My favorite hobbies are snowboarding, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, piloting, and playing basketball. I just became a father of a baby boy and I am loving all the joy a little one has brought into my life. I found my beautiful wife and married her as quick as I could and we moved down to Mesa, Arizona. I am currently at ASU to graduate this Fall with a degree in Genetics & Developmental Biology. Next step in life is to get into medical school.

Why I am a Mormon

I was guided by my parents growing up in the LDS faith. I never really started questioning it until my late teens. I had a rowdy bunch of friends who started to get into different drugs and alcohol. It was then I had to put all I had been told as a kid to the test and decide if I would join in with my friends. I read the scriptures and prayed to know whether any of it was true and even if there was a God. I had felt the Lord in my life before but I had to strengthen my faith and get my answer. After a particular week of serious contemplating, scripture study, and prayer, I gained my answer through a wonderful feeling in my heart that it was all true! This feeling was the spirit answering my questions of whether there was a God who was my Heavenly Father, could I really repent through Jesus Christ's sacrifice and gain favor in the eyes of the Lord, whether Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who restored the Gospel on the Earth, if the Book of Mormon and Bible were truly God's word, and if there was a prophet called of God leading us today. I can say today with all certainty that I know all these things to be true. I still am strengthening my faith but I know and always will know of the truth given to me that day.

How I live my faith

After I gained my testimony of the Gospel I chose to go on a church mission. After submitting my papers I was called to go and serve in the Mozambique, Maputo mission. This was my first large contribution to the building up of God's church here on the Earth. Since returning and getting married, my wife and I have been part of the church's sunday school program where we teach the three to eight-year-olds about the simple truths of Jesus' Gospel. It has been a humbling and rewarding experience. Lastly I live my faith with my family by trying to honor God's commandments of reading the scriptures and praying to him. Also we will teach our 6-month-old about the Savior's gospel when he gets older.
