Hi I'm Jenie

I'm a Mormon. I am a wife and mother of two young children.

About Me

I am a young mother of two small children. My husband and I met and were married at the end of my Senior year of college. I have my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with my teaching certificate for Early Childhood Education. My husband recently graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. My husband just entered the work force as a Research Engineer and we just bought our first home. We are excited to enter into this part of our lives. Watching our young children grow brings joy to both our lives. We hope to instill our love for education and all things good to our sweet children.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel that marriage and motherhood has helped my answer more clearly why I am a Mormon. Nothing is more important to me than being with my family forever. Our beliefs teach us that families are forever. Death does not end marriage or the relationships we have with our children. I cannot think of a more precious gift .

How I live my faith

Growing up, my mother had a rule for each of us children; we had to take piano lessons for 10 years ! This seemed like such a long time for a girl who did not like to practice. I have realized many times how important this would be to me in my adult life. I have held many opportunities to play the piano. Sometimes I have been the only one in the room who could play the piano or lead the music. My mom was preparing me to share my talents for those around me. Music and Hymns are an important part of our church meetings. They help invite a feeling of peace and love.
