Hi I'm Wayne

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Chandler Arizona and come from loving parents and a great family. I served a mission in Tokyo Japan.

About Me

I was raised in Chandler Arizona by loving parents and a great family. Memories of home are of the endless hours of playing whiffleball with my brothers. I served a mission in Tokyo Japan and loved everything about that great country and people. I have been married to my beautiful wife for over 20 years. I also have four children. ALL GIRLS:) My down time usually consists of Diamondback baseball. The "game within the game" is something that I truly enjoy. I also enjoy reading in the evenings. Usually anything that is motivating and allows me to forget my busy day. I firmly believe that good friends make all the difference in one's life. Surround yourself with people that can and will uplift you. We truly become, who we associate with.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed in my life with great people who have shared their thoughts and feelings about the divinity of our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I felt warm and happy when hearing of their special experiences and testimony. Almost as if a familiarity of the past has touched my soul. Yet, my whole heart yearned to have this confirmation of the divinity of Heavenly Father and HIS Son Jesus Christ for myself. Does God really live? Did Jesus Christ really walk the earth and die for me? How can I know for sure HIS direction for me? If these things are a reality or should we say true, then I must do everything I can to find out for myself. Rather than rely on the experiences of others. I am a Mormon because of a great desire to know by asking with a sincere heart, having faith that these things are true. God knows each of us by name. HE wants what is best for each of us while here on our earthly journey. I know that HE answered my prayers. And by doing so, I know that I can continue to have experiences that will give me direction and purpose. I am a Mormon because I put forth the effort to find out the TRUTH. This truth can give each of us the answers to our prayers. And direction in this life.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a necessary charge for me. I find that through my Sunday service and weekly service opportunities charges my batteries...so to speak. It allows me to surround myself with others who uplift and love me. I look forward to hearing talks and lessons that assist in my everyday living. Hearing these important lessons, fortifies my soul and allows me to withstand the world that is filled with Satan and his temptations. One of my favorites quotes is by President Benson: "When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives. Our love of the Lord will govern the claims for our affection, the demands on our time, the interest we pursue, and the order of our priorities." Living my faith continues to give me and my family direction. Because I know without a doubt of truthfulness THIS gospels message.
