Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Mormon missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I was called to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Ghana Accra West mission. I will be serving for 2 years and will return to my home in Mesa, Arizona - 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church. Thanks to amazing parents, I have been raised up with a firm belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Like many, I have gone through many rough times in my life. But it is because of the Gospel that I have always been able to hold fast hope. The Gospel has been a blessing in so many ways. It has been a solid rock that I can cling to when life's violent waves attack and has brought comforting peace into my life when I have needed it most. We have a Father in Heaven who loves each and every one of us more than we could ever fully understand. I have felt His love in my life and have seen it bless the lives of others. I am so grateful for the atonement and the blessings and comfort it brings. I am grateful for a righteous family and the testimony they have, and for amazing friends that have influenced my life and challenged me to become a better Priesthood holder and son of God. The Church of Jesus Christ is the true Gospel that has been restored to the earth by the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that living its teachings will bring endless blessings and happiness into our lives. This is what I know to be true and I will stand by it until the day I die.

How I live my faith

Missionaries have the wonderful opportunity to eat, sleep, and breath the Gospel. The day begins with prayer and scripture study. Every moment of every day we make choices to follow Christ and His example. Some moments are easier than others and some are harder. The beauty of agency is that we get to chose every single day what kind of person we want to be and what kind of actions we want to take. We are not forced to do anything by any outside influence or some internal struggle. The choice is ultimately ours. I choose to do my best in living the example and teachings of the master because of the love I have for Him, and for the unwavering love He has shown me. I know that when I live the teachings of His gospel and when I follow the rules of the mission and the standards that are expected of me, I, my family, and those I both work with and serve, are blessed tremendously.
