Hi I'm David George Mosson

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Arizona came from Mississippi at he age of 5

About Me

There is an old saying, "Be careful of what you ask for". Is when I learned that God hears all and knows our hearts well. Being from the Mississippi Delta, I did'nt Know the Mormon Church would let a black man into their parking Lot! But about seven months later, after Making The statement Lord when you send me two White Boys from Down Souh I'll listen a bit more seriously. Well, seven months later there they were. At my front door., I had the time so I invited them in. Asking the first Elder, where did you come from Elder, and with a smooth southern voice he said Kiro Georgia. This sent a cold chill up my spine. So I hurried up and asked the other Elder, where are you from Elder? Then with a slow draging southern response Houston Texas. I'm sure the expression on my face had a somwhat deer in the headlight look. Anyway, long story short , here I am, a Mormon of Eleven plus years and have been a President in three different quorums, and served as a Ward Missionary Leader for nearly four years. My currrent calling is a President within a branch. Yes I do believe that God will put us where we can be most perductive in serving him and his Children.

Why I am a Mormon

As the old song goes...I once was blind, but now I see. My discernment and spiritual awareness have increased in leaps and bounds. It may sound crazy but my ability to see things and know things way in advance is sometimes alarming and I just keep it all to my self. I feel this is where God wants me to be for what ever reason and here I'll stay. I could tell you some forty stories of spiritual nature and have written them down.

How I live my faith

I try to live what I teach and practice. It's so funny, often I can walk up to a person and tell them they are a mormon and 7 out of 10 times I'll be right. So many people have asked why are you so happy all the time? I guess I don't have to look over my shoulder or be afraid to look another eye to eye. I am fair in my dealing with my fellow man and that always counts for something!!

What is faith?

David George Mosson
As we all know that faith is belief of that which has not happened just yet but we believe that it will come to pass and is possible. Even if it takes a lifetime! Show more Show less
