Hi I'm Nicole

I am from Mesa. I am a wife and mother of 3 boys, a musician and a group fitness instructor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mesa. I studied music, and have held many callings in church involving music. I stay home and take care of my 3 boys. I recently became a certifed group fitness instructor. I love it because I only teach 2 classes a week while the older kids are at school, and I can bring my little one with me to play in the kids area. I love to be with my family and take vacations together. I have a lot of fun going on weekly dates with my husband, who is truly my best friend. I look forward to that special time with him every week. I love to sing and play piano. I love to exercise. Yoga and step aerobics are my favorite. My husband and I also enjoy working out at the gym together. I also love the outdoors. Some of my favorite things to do as a family are hike, camp, take a boat out on the lake and plan fun trips out of state. It's very important to me to spend that quality time together and create those special memories. I consider our children miracles in my life. Our oldest two are my step kids, who were very little when we got married. They were sealed to my husband and I for time and all eternity in the Mesa temple. They have been a blessing in my life, and we are lucky to have each other. Our youngest son is a huge miracle. After several months of trying to conceive, we found out that I would likely never get pregnant without the help of invitro fertilization. Our second attempt was a success and I was finally blessed to give birth to a healthy, beautiful boy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised mormon. I have always had a testimony of the gospel. It gets stonger and stronger as I get older. I have had many trials and experiences in my life that have brought me closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that Heavenly Father speaks to us through a living prophet. I know that he hears our prayers and answers them. I know that a lot of answers to prayers come through scripture study. I know of my worth; that I am a precious daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I have felt comforted by that in hard times, especially during the trial of trying to have a baby and going through fertility treatments and miscarriages. After my recent 3rd attempt at getting pregnant and suffering a 2nd miscarriage, I came to know more surely than ever before of Heavenly Fathers love for me, and that he has a plan for me. Because of my beliefs, I am able to willingly accept God's will. I want what God wants for me because he knows me better that I know myself. I have felt the most happy and the most fulfilled when I am living the teachings of the church. I believe in the power of the priesthood and have felt it bless my life. I know that living the commandments blesses lives and brings true happiness. There is so much joy in the plan of salvation. I want that eternal happiness for my family. I love the fact that I can be with my family for eternity. I know that the experiences that I have had in my life have been given to me for my personal growth and for me to become who God wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in the church, wherever I am called and serving others in need. I have been choir director for many years and have been so touched by the spirit that is brought into meetings through music. I now serve in the primary presidency, where I get to teach young children about the gospel. I try to be an example to those around me wherever I go. I want people to see that I have joy and know that it is because of my faith. We start each day with scripture study and prayer as a family. For us, this helps us to learn more as a family and helps each of us start the day with courage and strength to live the gospel better and be a good example throughout the day. It also brings us closer as a family. Daily prayers and scripture study, as well as uplifting music helps keep a special spirit in our home. It helps us maintain a more happy and loving home. I strive to keep the commandments because I know that they were given to us to protect us and give us joy and because Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and return to live with him again, and that is my goal. I believe in the atonement and because I am not perfect, when I fall short, I can take advantage of what Jesus did for me and repent of my weaknesses and strive to be better each day.
