Hi I'm Lynn

I was born deaf and use American Sign Language. I have two children. I like to watch movies, dance and cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to the Vancouver School for the Deaf in my youth. I have two brothers and one sister. One of my brothers and my father have passed away. My favorite color is blue and I love Italian food.

Why I am a Mormon

When I lived in Seattle the missionaries were introduced to me by my friend. They taught me the discussions and after three lessons the Spirit bore powerful witness to me that the church was true. I didn't know it was the Spirit at first, I just experiences goosebumps and a warm feeling, my friend told me that was the Spirit. My family was opposed to me becoming a member. I decided I wanted to be baptized so a month later I was. I went to the Seattle Institute of Religion to learn more about the gospel.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday to hear the gospel through an interpreter. I want my children to grow up strong in the gospel. I want my kids to be good examples of what a Mormon is to my family. Even though my family does not want to hear about the gospel, my kids talk to them. At church I work in the nursery with little children. I like playing with the little kids and laughing with them.
