Hi I'm Leah

I've grown up in the church and I love everything about it. I sing, act and I'm always happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a teenage girl with a big heart. I have a mom, a dad, two brothers and a sister. I'm in the middle, but I definitely act like I'm younger than my younger brother. I'm very dramatic, which is why I'm in the drama class at school. I love to act, and I really with I could do lighting for one of our shows. I play piano, clarinet, and a little bit of guitar. Oh, I also love to sing. I make up weird songs all the time, but I can always get down and work hard on a piece I need to do. I have a lot of reliable friends, and I've gone through issues but everything works out well in the end. I'm so grateful for everyone in my family and all my friends that I have.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and I've loved everything about it. I get so much joy from the lessons and the teachings of our prophets. I love Christ and His safrifice, and because of Him, I know I will be ressurected and I know that I can life with Him and our Heavenly Father again. My father is the bishop of our ward, and I know that I've been blessed with this. I have a much greater understanding of the Gospel because of my father, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity I've had to be his daughter. I know my Father lives. I know that my family loves me, and does everything they can to protect me. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that I will live with my Heavenly Father again. I know that Jesus died for us so we could be in Heaven with Him again. I know that Joseph Smith is a a prophet and that he restored the true church for all of us. I know that President Monson is our living prophet today and that he will give us guidance. I know that I am a child of God. I know that Heavenly Father loves me, and so does Jesus. I love Heavenly Father with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I continue going to church and our youth activities every week. In my ward, I am the chorister in Sacrament meeting. Having this calling has given me a big opportunity to learn more of the hymns and sometimes find out the background on them. I love to teach the other youth in classes, because I love the feeling of teaching the Gospel to others. I'm in choir at church and that is one big way that I express myself in church. I sing primary hymns and I sing hymns to show my love for the Gospel. I go to every ward party that I can, and I talk to everyone I can. At school, I express my love for the church by talking about our church activities that we may have done the previous night or talking about the wonderful teacher I have for Sunday school. I love when people ask my questions about the church, because I also learn and grow. Church is a big part of my life, and I love being Mormon.
