Hi I'm David

I grew up in Washington and Colorado. I am in the National Guard and have been for 4 1/2 years. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play soccer and have for most of my life. I am a new father of an 8 week old baby boy and have been married for just over a year. I am still in school and will be for the long haul as I apply to Pharmacy school. I joined the National Guard when I was 20 to straighten out my life and haven't looked back!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because there is nothing else in this world that provides me with the peace and confidence that the church helps me attain myself. I grew up in the church but as a teenager I made some decisions that I regret. I came back to the church when I felt like I had hit rock bottom and finally found myself and what I had been missing my whole life. I wholly believe in everything that I taught and try to live the teachings daily. I know that without the gospel, my life would be much harder and I would live the way I did in my earlier years. I have the chance now to teach my children the things that my mother taught me and ultimately led to me coming back to the church.

How I live my faith

I love to do service. I participate in the Mormons Helping Hands projects that come to my hometown. In church I taught the 12 and 13 year old class with my wife. We taught about Jesus Christ and his teachings.
