Hi I'm Patricia

I am an avid quilter, photographer, digital scrapbooker and a homeschooling mom of 3 and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my soul mate and we are so lucky to have 3 wonderful children. I worked for many years as a pediatric nurse, but am now a stay at home mom. I have homeschooled my children for the last 13 years. I love to quilt, sew bags and other accessories, take lots of pictures, digital scrapbook. I love to serve those around me and make other people smile. I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis but made a personal choice to look for the blessings it has brought my life, such as being able to be home with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I still reached a point in my life where I had to be converted. I had to find out for myself if it was true. I read the Book of Mormon while attending seminary. I prayed about it and felt so strongly that it was true. I've never looked back. I'm so grateful for the role the church plays in my life. I'm grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm looking forward to spending all of eternity with my family. I'm also looking forward to having a perfected body when we are all resurrected. I know my Savior lives and that he loves me. He watches over me and guides my every footstep.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith every day. I also teach my children to live the gospel every day. I love to serve others around me and try to spread the love of our Savior to those around me. I have served in many capacities in the church-teaching Sunday School, young women, being the camp nurse for girls camp and cub scout day camp, leading the music, keeping the ward scrapbook and teaching the little kids in Primary. I am currently serving as Primary president. The testimony of these young children help inspire me every day. I use my love of quilting and sewing to teach others and to give to the community. Our quilting group is making quilts to go to the needy, especially those that lost their homes in the local fires. I try to ask myself, "What would my Savior have me do?" as I live my life. I also want to be the kind of women that makes Satan be afraid every morning when I wake up because he knows I'm going to try to make the world a better place.
