Hi I'm Kara

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I got married to the man of my dreams in the Mesa Temple. We have been married a little over 3 years and we have a little boy who is two. I have the joy of being a stay at home mom, teaching and learning from my son. He has been such a joy and huge blessing to have in our lives. He keeps us on our toes. I also babysit a couple times a week. I love to go on dates with my husband, spend time with my family, make crafts, hang out with friends, cook, play sports, work outside, and sing. I love life and am so very thankful for my family and all my many blessings. I love the gospel and love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. I grew up in the church and always from my family's teachings and examples knew that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the only true church. I felt the spirit many times and I knew deep down that this was where I belonged and that this was the true church. I love the gospel and everything it has to offer. With the gospel everything just makes sense. I love knowing where I will go after I die and that if I do the things I am suppose to that I can see my family again and be with them for eternity. I couldn't imagine life without my husband, son, and other family members. Death is alot easier to handle knowing what I know. I love that if I read my scriptures and pray my days go better and my husband I have less problems in our marriage. I know that if we are doing whats right, Satan has a harder time getting in the little cracks of our marriage and family. I love our prophet and that he leads and guides us. I love that he is a messenger from our Heavenly Father. I love going to church each Sunday and feeling the spirit. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to be a Mormon. I don't know where I would be without the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I am an outgoing person and love to live my faith by helping out in the community or our church. A couple months ago a huge wildfire went through our town and many other towns neighboring. We had to evacuate and leave our homes not knowing what the outcome would be. Luckily through prayers, fasting, and miracles our little town was saved. Our community really came together and everyone was willing to help each other. Even though it was a scary experience there was good that came out of it with everybody working together and coming together as a community. We filled sand bags as a community after the fire had passed for potential flooding. I love participating in my community and helping overs. Another way I live my faith is by serving others. I enjoy taking meals in to the sick, or going out of my way to talk to someone or to make people feel included. I love the good feeling I get when I serve others. Living my faith is not hard. No my life is not perfect, I have trials and struggles just like everyone else. With my faith I know I can get through any trial with the help of my Heavenly Father and it's easier to endure.
