Hi I'm Ari

I love my friends and family. I love to sing and dance anywhere any place. I love my brother Jesus Christ and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I play the saxophone and love thaeatre. I have the cutest dog in the world! I also love going to dances and I love my friends and of course Texas. I am a fashionista I love to look nicer than usual for school even though I am homeschooled. I am a Young Woman in the Young Women Program. I believe in clean media and language. I believe in gentlemen and gentlewomen who are kind and compassionate. I am a bit disapointed in our worlds cleanliness in body and spirit. I love debating in politics and I feel true that the Costitution is the work of our Heavenly Father. I have a younger sister and a older brother who is in the air force. I love yellow and roses. I am not afraid to bear my testimony, I love hte gospel and how it uplifts my spirit everyday. i strive to read the scriptures everyday and live the words of the prophets. I would like to tell you something about us "mormons" we are lds not mormons, we do not drink or smoke, we do not believe in tattoos, we do not think we are perfect , and we do not have horns on our heads. I love my Young Women and I enjoy laughing with them at mutual and girls camp. I love this world and my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 8 I got baptized . I don't think I quite knew why . I have been raised in this church and I love it. Even though I might not have3 had a testimony then I do now. I believe Heavenly Father is my Father and he is waiting for me and loves me just as much as Dad on Earth. I know Jesus atoned so I can repent of my lousy sins such as cursing and lying and so I can repent for big ones in the future. I know for a fact Joseph Smith is a prophet and he wrote the true gospel as tool in God's hands.I know that the temple brings me and my family closer and we can live together forever. I know I am beautiful in and out no matter what anybody thinks. I Know the Holy Ghost will always be with me and I feel him everyday and even now. I know this church is true by some of it standards like, modesty, clean language,no vulgar or inapropriate movies. I know that every day I live he loves me more and more.I could tell you a million other things that I believe ,but this is what my world is based on you can come up with a thousand reasons.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others. I open my heart to those around me and learn to love each one of them. I love to serve in any place needed. I also pray to Heavenly Father with all my heart, I try to speak with him about everything. I also study the scriptures not just read them but think about what I am reading. One last thing I do is I write in my journal about everything I see and feel, because I want my kids for generations to come to be able to know me as I am.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Ari
No, Even though many of us choose to it is not required and they are not bad people if they decide not to go on one, it is a moving religious experience encouragede to many young people. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Ari
Of course not service is a piece of the foundation for our church, we serve those who need help or are in trouble. Like when the Bastrop Fires hit, we have donated as many uneeded things as possible. We love to serve and wish people to serve with us. Show more Show less

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Ari
The Book of Mormon was written by many different men from around 600 B.C who we believe to be prophets. They came from Jerusalem and traveled to the Americas. Joseph Smith Jr. translated the Book of Mormon using a translater God gave him, but he did not write any of it himself. The true writer of the Book of Mormon is Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. They truly did influence the writings in the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
