Hi I'm Danny

I'm a twin, an off-road enthusiast, a dirtbike rider, a snowboarder, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm Danny, I'm originally from Simi Valley, California. My family moved to South Jordan, Utah when i was about 5 years old. Some of my favorite things to do are: jeeping, dirt biking, atving, wakeboarding, snowboarding, long boarding, hiking, rock climbing, camping, shooting, cliff jumping, river rafting, and hanging out with my friends and family. I have an awesome family, there are 5 of us kids. I have 2 older brothers and an older sister. I also have an identical twin brother! It's awesome. I grew up in a very active family and we spent a lot of time together, mostly in the outdoors. I have the best friends in the world and love them all. I recently married my best friend crystal. I love spending time with her and she helps me be a better person. Life is what you make it. I love life and wouldn't change a thing if i could!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a mormon home, with parents that are very active in our faith. My friends and family are mostly mormon. I've been surrounded by mormons my whole life. This has probably contributed to my activity in this church, but is not why I am mormon. I'm Mormon because I have come to know for myself that the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is in fact Christ's church on the earth. This knowledge didn't come because my parents told me it's true. Growing up i went through the actions because i was following my parents, but when the time came for me to decide whether i wanted to give up 2 years of my life for the church, leaving my friends, family, jeep, dirtbike, and everything else back home I needed to know for myself if this church is true. The book of Mormon comes with a promise that if we will read the book of mormon, ponder the message it contains, and ask God, in the name of jesus christ, if the book is true, he will tell us through the power of the holy ghost. I have read the book of mormon, and asked God if it is true, and i have received an answer for myself that it is. This answer didn't come all at once... It came over time, line upon line, precept upon precept. It took effort on my part, but like God always does, he kept his promise when i put him to the test. Try it, what do you have to lose? Read the book of mormon with a sincere heart, with faith in Christ, and with real intent to act on the answer you receive, and God will answer your prayer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I live my faith by being a husband and treating my wife with respect. i just finished serving as a full time missionary for the church of jesus christ of latter day saints In alaska. I also live my faith by constantly looking for opportunities to serve those around me. I live my faith by studying the words of god daily, by praying daily, by living the commandments, and by trying to follow Jesus Christ's example. I'm not perfect, in fact i'm far from perfect, but I am trying daily to become better. I'm trying to let my father in heaven shape me into the man he wants me to be. This is done by submitting my will to his will daily. I love the gospel and as i have done my best to live it to my fullest ability i have been blessed infinitely.
