Hi I'm Paige.

I've lived most of my life in the Pacific Northwest. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a work-from-home graphic designer and mother of three young children. With design work, kids, and a house with a never-ending project list, I'm pretty busy! If I find some free time, though, I love to be creative. I enjoy sewing, scrapbooking, painting, throwing parties, and really anything else that allows me to create something. I also enjoy exercising and teaching my kids to keep their bodies healthy.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born into a Mormon family, I still made a conscious choice to continue living the gospel. When I was a teenager I was at a meeting, and I felt that I needed to pray to know for myself if the gospel was true. That night I prayed earnestly, not knowing what exactly I personally believed. The sweet peaceful feeling that I received as I prayed helped me to understand without a doubt that there was a God, and that He loved me and listened to my prayer. That night changed the course of my life at a very pivotal time, when I could have taken any number of paths. Since then I have sought to life so that I could have that peace in my life and feel the love of my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I work a lot with the women in my ward (congregation). I visit them frequently, and help to plan and carry out monthly meetings that are meant to enrich their lives and help us get to know each other better and learn from one another. I love that I'm able to use my creativity to bless and serve the women around me!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Paige.
Simply put, a testimony is what you believe. As I described it to my 4-year old the other day, when you share your testimony you are just telling others what you believe. I'd also add that it's not just any old belief--- my deep beliefs and understandings of things come through the guidance of the Holy Ghost. For instance, I have a firm testimony of prayer, because when I have prayed about things I have received answers! I felt the Holy Ghost confirm that my prayers were answered and that Heavenly Father listens to me when I pray. That is part of my testimony. Show more Show less
