Hi I'm Phillip

I love to play, explore, snowboad, ride motorcylces and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I am a financial advisor and love my job because I get to work with so many different people. I am also working on getting my MBA with the finish line in sight! I am married to an amazing woman that I've known since high school, and we are coming up on 8 years of marriage. We don't have any kids yet, which has a lot of people scratching their heads. A Mormon with no kids.... well they are definitely in our future. I love sports! I snowboard, play golf and basketball regularly and have recently been trying my hand at tennis. I have completed 4 triathlons and although I get slower each year, I love the challenge and sense of accomplishment as I limp across a finish line. Another passion is riding my motorcycle. I have a cruiser and love to get the wife on the back and just enjoy the open road. My wife and I love to travel and we hope to be able to continue to explore the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the Mormon Church, I became truly converted when I left for college and began making the decisions that would shape the rest of my life. As I prayed for truth and guidance I found that the Gospel of Jesus Christ, taught in the church, gave me the direction and purpose I was looking for. I am a Mormon because following Christ brings me true and lasting happiness. I can feel good about the way I live my life and I have the perfect example in the Savior on ways that I can improve. I am a Mormon because God answered my prayers.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve the Lord within His church. I served a 2 year mission for the Church in St. Louis, MO. An incredible place despite the humidity. I have also served as a leader over the youth and scouts in the church. Currently I serve as the ward mission leader. This calling allows me to focus on spreading the gospel to all who are searching for truth. When I live my faith and serve others it helps me to get my priorities in line and see others not as strangers but as brothers and sisters, children of God. One way that I really try to live my faith is to lift up the hearts and spirits of those around me. The Lord has blessed me with a happy and optimistic nature. I find that if I can make someone smile, or help another in need, I feel I am following in the footsteps of the Savior.
