Hi I'm Russ

I love playing basketball, golf, watching sports, watching my children play sports, Sunday afternoon naps and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 4 beautiful children. I love spending time with them and going to there different activities. I have a wonderful wife who I love dearly and am greatful for her devotion to our family. I've worked in the construction industry for the past 14 years as a operator, foreman, superintendent and currently as an estimator/project manager. I love and enjoy what I do. I grew up in a small southwestern Idaho community. We had all kinds of animals to take care of as well as a big garden. My parents always made sure we didn't have a lot of free time to waste. I feel like I've taken on some of those characteristics. I want my children to have the best opportunities and to grow to their full potential.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know it's the true church of Jesus Christ. I was able to share that message for two years of my own life. I saw how it changed the lives of the people I served. I look forward to church every week and being able to partake of the sacrament. This is the most important part of our weekly meetings. The sacrament gives us a chance to reflect on the past week and to improve our lives to be more like the Savior.

How I live my faith

I am currently a scout leader over 11 year old boys. Each boy has a goal to earn his First Class scout rank by the time he turns 12 years old. This has been a great calling for me. The boys are eager to learn and I am always impressed by their intelligence. I feel like I learn more from them then they do from me. I love the scouting program and feel it is an important part of the church. It teaches young men to be responsible and to serve their fellow men.
