Hi I'm Rebekka

I love music and singing. I'm a bookworm and a daydreamer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m from a small town in Northern California. I’m the second of seven kids. I love thrift store shopping and “getting creative” with my outfits. I will always love playing dress-up. I love reading. I read pretty much anything, but I have a special place in my heart for classics. I’m a huge fan of Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell. I love singing at the top of my lungs, playing the piano, listening to music, and watching movies. I love olives. I love running through grass without shoes and looking at clouds. My best friends are all related to me. At this point in my life, I’m trying to become a grownup.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and I love it. I didn’t receive my testimony all at once or get a miraculous manifestation. I believed my parents and teachers when they said something was right or wrong. I loved primary (children's sunday school) activities and I loved the youth activities. I guess I just never had a desire to rebel, and I always did what I was told. Through listening, obedience, scripture study, and consistently going to church and church activities my belief in this church and in this gospel has grown more and more. When I was younger, I went to church because my parents did. I now know for myself and I have no doubt that this church is true and Jesus is our Savior.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I respect my body by dressing modestly, I read my scriptures, I pray. Everyday isn’t going to be easy, but I believe that being consistent in these things is what keeps me stronger and better prepared for bumps in the road. I do not currently have a ward calling, but in my last ward I served as the Young Women’s class president. I helped our youth leaders plan activities and I tried to be the best example I could be to my fellow young women. I loved it! I hope to serve a mission in a few years.
