Hi I'm Jared.

I am a United States Navy Veteran and a father of four beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey there, my name is Jared. I am married to my beautiful wife of 7 years and we have 4 wonderful children. I am a United States Navy veteran. I enjoy fishing, camping, spending lots of time with my family, watching movies, listening to country music, and going to the occasional concert.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 8 years old. Over the years I had a bumpy ride but was constantly reminded of God's love for me. I have never felt a burning desire or peaceful feeling as I do when I am learning more about the gospel. I have been a member almost 23 years and being a Mormon has taught me a lot. I love the fact that this church is family oriented, because my family means so much to me. I love my Heavenly Father (God) and Jesus Christ so very much, and what better place to show this love then by serving them and going to their one true church upon the face of the earth.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday (except when I am sick). I bear my testimony a lot. I am an assistant to the Sunday School President. I also have a short list of families that another man and I are assigned to check up on regularly to teach a message given by higher up church leadership, provide friendship and support, and to serve them when needed. There are a couple men that visit me as well. It's comforting to us, as members, to know that we always have someone looking out for us!
