Hi I'm Jared

I love Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, my friends and family. I love reading. I love the beauty of Washington State. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest child in a family of 6, with 1 brother, 2 sisters, and a loving mom and dad. I attend BYU-Idaho, and study exercise physiology. I like to play many sports, especially soccer and ultimate Frisbee, but I was on the cross country/track & field team in high school. I also like to go hiking, and see all the beautiful places in the mountains. I like being out with friends, as they provide a lot of fun and moral support. I also served a mission in the Arcadia California Mission. It's one of the best things in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. I've made choices in my live which have drawn me closer to Him. Something I've chosen to do, is be baptized in this church. I grew up in the church, and that has affected why I attended church when I was young. But as I've grown up, I've actually been able to come to know for myself that this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and living church of Jesus Christ. This has come to me by small experiences here and there, and actual study on the doctrine and history of the church, but most especially because of diligently seeking the Lord's guidance and answers through sincere prayer. I love being Mormon!

How I live my faith

I try to set an example for my friends at school in doing the right things and making good choices. I don't swear, and I try to eat good food often to keep my body clean and healthy. I go to church every Sunday. While on a mission, I try to follow my purpose the best I can. I invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. I'm so glad that this is my purpose, because when we follow our purpose, it brings the fullness of joy into our lives, and into the lives of those we teach. I really try to do my best to serve and love everyone. Sometimes in can be hard, but that's when I turn to my savior and rely on his love that he has for everybody.
