Hi I'm Rose

I'm a musician. I'm a wife. I have suffered infertility. I am a mother of profoundly gifted children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a professional flutist. I love making music come alive to touch someone's heart and soul. Even more, I love to teach students how to do this. I enjoy watching them grow their confidence, skills and ability to share something so wonderful with the world. I am also a wife and am the mother of two profoundly gifted 'miracle' children who are an exciting challenge to raise. We struggled terribly with infertility and lost six of eight pregnancies. My children, years apart in age, are miracles that I thank my Heavenly Father for every day. Raising profoundly gifted children is a challenge at many levels. My goal is to instill in them the desire to aspire to their highest ability while assimilating with and benefiting society with their God-given gifts.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always innately known that there is a Heavenly Father and that Jesus Christ is His divine son. I know that I can receive answers to my prayers. As I have turned to Heavenly Father to find out if the Gospel was the correct path I should follow, I have received one calm answer after another indicating it was the correct path. Through so many pregnancy losses and other trials in life, I have found the answers to so many questions and find comfort where I never thought it could be found. The Gospel has taught me there is a perfect plan for my life.

How I live my faith

My daily goal is to serve everyone I come in contact with in some way, small or large. I have organized social gatherings, acted as a bulletin editor and taught Gospel lessons. I have particularly loved teaching the Gospel to children through weekly lessons, music and leadership. I have enjoyed directing the choir, also.
