Hi I'm Mike

Soy de Utah, USA. Soy misionero en México.

About Me

I´m from Utah, USA and I´m living in Chiapas, Mexico (by Guatemala). I´m the youngest in a family of six kids. Growing up, we had a lot of fun in the outdoors; we went for cruizes in the canyons, hiking, camping, target practicing, shooting clays. It´s been very interesting aging from a tyke to a young man, living away from home, becoming independant of my family, and choosing where to go with my life. I´ve learned a lot in the Church about what things make ya happy in life and come to now the Saviour a lot better and I try to follow His example in my day to day life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a mormon family with the simple faith of and eight year old. Several years later I stopped going to Church for a while only to find that the lifestyle of a faithful and active member is the only way to go. I love the security and comfort that the gospel provides and the support that my friends and family give me; I wonder what kind of a person I and my loved ones would be without the light of the Saviour´s gospel... I gotta say that I prefer to see us as we are, as happy followers of Christ.

How I live my faith

In my day-to-day life, I have many opportunities to influence people who surround me, both members and non-members of the LDS Church. I take advantage of oppurtinities to share my faith with those who are unfamiar with the Church, inviting them to come and see how they can be good men and women, learning more about the Saviour. I also strenghten and instruct local members, active and inactive, motivating them to be their best selves and be true to the faith.
