Hi I'm Dave

I grew up in the midwest, the third of four buys, and was taught good family values by my parents and grandparents. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my high school sweetheart and am a father of three and grandfather of seven. I graduated in engineering and worked in industry for several years to provide a good living for my family and others that were not as fortunate. I enjoy most sports and being involved my children's and grandchildren's activities. I have a passion for family history work and understanding more about my ancestors this also keeps us linked to our extended family. I enjoy reading keeping my mind active, traveling, and working on projects with my hands. Strong relationships are essential for me, particularly with my sweetheart and my children. I am most proud of our three children and the people they have become.

Why I am a Mormon

Having grown up in a close family has made that concept very important to me. We investigated the LDS Church when our children were young because of their emphasis on family and eternal families. The more we studied and participated with other church members the more our testimonies grew. Over teh years we have had teh opportunity to serve in many capacities in order to help us grow and to be a positive influence in teh lives of others. Most importantly I have grown to love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and recognize the sacrifice that was made for me. I know that everything I have been blessed with throughout my life has come from Heavenly Father and I am grateful

How I live my faith

I have most enjoyed teaching the youth of the church and community and gaining an understanding that we are raising a great generation. There are always opportunities for wonderful service in the church that has enriched my life and that of my family and continues to do so.
