Hi I'm Carol

I'm a Mormon.I am a 5th generation Arizona native and a lifelong church member, as were my ancestors that preceded me.

About Me

I am a single mother of 7 grown children and a grandmother of 6. This is my greatest accomplishment in life! My entire family including my parents, brothers and sisters all live within a 30 mile radius of me.I even graduated from the same high school as my parents. I love family get togethers and also family reunions. I like to play games, work on crafts, go out to dinner and go country western dancing. I especially enjoy going to movies, plays and concerts. My favorite thing to do in the hot Arizona summer is to swim and do water aerobics. I run a day care out of my home and I take online college classes. I am in my senior year majoring in Elementary Education. I am a people person and like to interact with people I don't know because I feel that they can add things to my life in many different ways.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and going to church to learn about his life and teachings. The association of other people with the same goals and interests makes it one of the reasons I attend church every Sunday. This gives me a Christ centered foundation for raising my children and associating with other people I encounter throughout my life. The gospel also gives me much hope and happiness as I try to inspire and uplift others. I know why I am here on Earth and what I need to do to return to my Heavenly Father. I have always been involved in music, such as singing in choirs, directing singers and preforming in different concerts. I try to be an optimistic and uplifting mother and friend (something I learned from my own mother) through my words and actions as I strive to live my life following the example of my savior,Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am a single divorced mother that has had many challenges in my life. I work with other singles in the church hoping to motivate and inspire them to love and enjoy each stage of life that they are in. My full time job is running a day care out of my home. I pray each day to be able to have patience and love for these children and strive to treat them as children of our Heavenly Father. I always try to be a good example to my family and friends through the spirit of the gospel and my love of the Lord. I spend much of my spare time doing temple work and genealogy. This service brings me much happiness and joy knowing that I am doing the Lord's work.
