Hi I'm Julie

I have lived in California, Utah, and Arizona. I’m a wife. I’m a mother to five awesome children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a wife and a mother and devote most of my time to those important responsibilities. I am homemaker and a part-time accountant. After the laundry is done, the groceries are bought, the meals are prepared, the homework is complete, the various events are attended, the bills are paid, and our home is neat and tidy: I like to read, go on dates with my husband, create something crafty, do puzzles, paint my nails, sew, sit on the beach, shop, take walks, ride my bike, and most importantly spend more time enjoying my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon by my parents and have never doubted that the church I belong to is Jesus Christ’s church restored to the earth in these latter days by a prophet of God. Throughout my life I have had many experiences that have helped me to know this personally. I know that I have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who atoned for my sins. I know that he loves me and have felt that consuming love throughout my life. I also know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows me and wants me to be happy. I know that as I turn to him in sincere prayer, do my best to keep the commandments, and love and serve others, He will guide me and bless me and my family. I often marvel at how fortunate I am to know these things and to be guided and blessed every single day of my life especially through the hard times. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and through that plan I can be with my family forever, and that brings me great joy and peace.

How I live my faith

I live my Mormon faith by serving and teaching others. I have had many opportunities to teach, lead, and serve others in my faith. I have been a leader of, organized activities for, and taught the gospel of Jesus Christ to the smallest of toddlers to adults much older and wiser than myself. I currently teach and lead a group of young women ages 16-18. I love being with them and sometimes think that they teach me more than I teach them. I also live my faith by doing the things that I know will bring me more knowledge, direction, and peace in my life. These things include reading and studying the scriptures and teachings of our prophets, praying daily with my family and by myself, going to our beautiful temples, and setting aside time to be with my family to teach them and to have fun with them. I love being a Mormon and can’t imagine it not being a part of my life. My joy and happiness comes from my family and being a Mormon.
