Hi I'm David

I was born in Oregon, raised in Idaho and I have been a Mormon all my life.

About Me

I enjoy hunting and fishing. I enjoy my children and grand children. I like to grow a garden and can vegatables from it. I enjoy camping with my family. There is nothing like a good campfire. I like helping others. I really like to cook in dutch ovens when I camp with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of the wonderful life style it provides me and my family. I love the Savior Jesus Christ and the many blessings He has given me personally. I really enjoy seeing how the Holy Ghost changes the lives of others. I also appreciate how the LDS Church helps young people make good choices that will effect them the rest of their lives. Our Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ live and direct the church through a prophet. The Book of Mormon was received and translated by the prophet Joseph Smith and is an important part of this church. I truely know that prayer is an important part of everyones life and prayers are answered by a loving Heavenly Father. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

I love giving service to the community by participating in the Boy Scouts of Americia. As a past Scout master I have witnessed how this service oriented program changes lives. It gives young men a stable platform on which to preview the decision placed before them in the world. It helps them make good decisions for now and in the future. I enjoy participating in community service project like the one coming up this year celebrating 9/11 and the 75th anniversary of the church welfare program. Much good will come from it and lives will be changed.
