Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in Wenatchee, Washington. I am an accountant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, dad of four, and an accountant. I love my family and my job. I like to keep busy with remodeling houses, serving on a board and volunteering as a little league baseball coach. I enjoy biking, watching sports, and being with the family. I went to the University of Washington and studied business and then did masters studies in accounting at Gonzaga University.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up attending a Baptist church and then a non-denominational Christian church. When I was 19, I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was not an easy decision. Through my upbringing, I was taught that prayer was important. I knew I could receive an answer to my prayers and that is why I became a member. I received that answer and I take comfort in knowing I made the right decision. When challenges arise, as they always do, I can receive that answer and that comfort over and over. It has been over 15 years since my baptism, and it has been a wonderful journey.

How I live my faith

I lead a group of men roughly 19-50 years old. We try to visit each other at least monthly. I have meetings that help me grow as well as give instruction to help me be a better leader. Most of the members of my group have familys and busy lives. We try to help each by making ourselves available to help, whether it be a service project or just stopping by and saying "hi". Most of the group, including myself are very involved with the community. We volunteer for boards, child sports coaching, political offices, and generally try to be a positive influence in our community.
