Hi I'm Dallas Sego

I'm a Mormon.I grew up in north central Idaho where I still reside. I have worked here all but 4 yrs. of my life.

About Me

I am a father of 5 and grandfather of 6, lived and worked in Idaho my entire life, have been a member since my parents got baptised when I was 5. I have not been to college, but did finish high school, made my way be working hard. I didn't go on a mission but went in the Air Force instead. I do wish that I had gone on a mission. The church has been a great part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had the choice to choose what I wanted to do with my life, that was the way my parents raised all 7 of thier children. At a time of my life I stopped going to church thinking I didn't need religion, but after a time I realized that Jesus Christ was important in my life, and the only true place that I felt his presence was in the gosple that the church taught. I dicovered what true happiness was and it wasn't getting more "stuff" like most young people today think of. The princeples taught by the church are true and know that because I have lived them and tried them until the spirt bore witness to me that I was doing what God wanted me to do. And that is where true happiness comes from. Also I have read the Book of Mormon now several times and can say that it is unique and special in it's own wright because it carries with it a special spirit that reaches the soul of the reader, it can truely change lives and has.

How I live my faith

I currently hold a resposibility in our church that keeps me very busy, it involves the entire congreation, but my true joy comes when I get the opportunity to teach a class. Because of my job in the church I go to a lot of meetings and training sessions that teach me about how to be a better leader threw my service to others.
