Hi I'm Kate

I grew up in Indianapolis. I served a mission in Southern France. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and stay at home mother of two small children. I have a 3 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. I am also a Tupperware Consultant part time. I enjoy being a consultant. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people and socialize with other adults. I also attend a monthly book club. I enjoy reading and learning about other people and cultures. I served a mission for the LDS church in France and I attended college at Ricks/BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church but really started to have my own testimony in my teenage years. I was attending a lot of church functions for youth and also reading my scriptures and praying. After much prayer I came to know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was Gods true church on the earth today. I have continued to follow its teaches throughout my life because they bring me peace and comfort. I know why I am here on earth and what my purpose is. I also know that if I need help or guidance I can turn to the scriptures or my Heavenly Father for answers. That is a great comfort to me.

How I live my faith

I attend church with my family every Sunday. During Sunday School time I am in charge of making sure the children ages 18 months to 12 years are being taught the gospel of Jesus Christ. I help assign teachers to classes, and help the children learn songs. It is a very challenging but rewarding assignment. It keeps me busy on Sundays. I am also assigned to visit, teach and support a few women in our congregation. In this way we can uplift and help those that may need such support.
