Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in Utah, have lived all over the United States, am a mother of 2 children, a nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a single mother of two beautiful children who became engaged to a wonderful man last week (Sept 6, 2011)! Prior to my divorce 3 years ago I knew I needed to find a new career that would allow me to earn a good living and be a mother so I opted to do the pre-requisites for nursing school. After a lot of hard work I finally graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in August 2011. I love singing, playing the piano, and spending time with my family. I also love to travel and learn about other cultures and people.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel with all my heart. It has been the light in the darkness when I have gone through heartache and disappointment. It is a sure path that if followed brings the traveler great peace and happiness. Although I have been a member my whole life, I sought a testimony of my own around the age of 13 and have known ever since that this is the Lord's church and has been restored to help guide us in these difficult times. I love the personal relationship I have been able to develop with my Savior and the knowledge that I am a daughter of God and that he knows ME! I feel blessed that because of this relationship I can do hard things and come out with a smile on my face. I am so grateful to know that if I put my trust in a loving Heavenly Father everything will work out in the end.

How I live my faith

I am the Primary (Children's organization) pianist in my Ward. I love this calling because music has always been an important part of my life and it is fun to share that with the children. The children are taught basic gospel principles through beautiful music which will help them throughout their lives. I am also a Visiting Teacher and get to visit 3 other female members of our Ward. We love to spend time together and will often go to lunch, movies, or just sit and chat about life. The other highlight of my week is to attend the Temple. Here I get to act as a proxy for a choice daughter of God who was not able to accept the Gospel in this life. Temple work allows all of God's children the opportunity to make covenants and be united with their families for eternity.
