Hi I'm Janalee

I am a Master's student and Fiancé. Spicy Nacho Doritos make me happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently live in Arizona and absolutly love the summer heat. I am getting married in November in the Mesa temple. I work for a University and I am working on my Master's degree. I enjoy spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends. I have a nephew who I love to spoil. I enjoy reading and will only purchase a book if it hardback. I hope to have a library full of books someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a home centered around the gospel and have been blessed to be taught the importance of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ from a very early age. Even though I was raised in the Church I have searched and prayed to know if the Church was true and gain my own testimony. Being a Mormon is so much a part of me and I would not know what I would do without my testimony of the gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he suffered and died for me. I feel the love of my Heavenly Father each day as I read the scriptures and pray. I am greatful to know that because I have been batized and will one day soon be married for time and all eternity to a worthy priesthood holder, I will be able to be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

Attending church each Sunday has become one of my favorite parts of the week. Being able spend the day feeling the Spirit and strengthening my testimony helps give me the stregth I need to get through each week. I currently serve as the visiting teaching leader in my single adult ward. Visiting teach is set up to make sure that each sister is taken care of and loved. Each sister is assigned a companion and together they are assigned two or three sisters to visit, teach, and become her friend. Before serving in this position, I did not understand the importance of visiting teaching and how I can be a stregth and friend for those sisters in my ward. I have come to love each one of them through the visiting teaching program. I try to live my life each day as an example for what I believe and who I want to become. I love the gospel and how it has shaped my life and made me the person I am today. I strive each day to be an example to those around me and to get one step closer to being closer to my Savior.
