Hi I'm Glenn

and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a native of the Texas Hill Country. I have been married to my beautiful wife for over 35 years. Together we have raised two wonderful children that have brought us awesome grandchildren. I enjoy cooking, hunting, fishing, and being around my family. Life is good in the Hill Country of Texas.

Why I am a Mormon

Religion was not important to me until I met my wife. She asked me to go to church with her and I did. The first meeting I attended was a testimony meeting. I was so impressed by the Spirit that I felt was present in that room and within the congregation, and I decided that I needed to know more. I was impressed by, on one hand, the simple nature of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and on the other hand all of the questions that were answered by studying the gospel. I joined quickly, and have been grateful to my wife, ever since, for asking me to go to church with her. My understanding of life – why I am here? . . . where did I come from? . . . where will I go after this life? . . . has been so enlarged by studying the scriptures. I love my Heavenly Father and elder brother, Jesus Christ. I pray each day that I might be worthy to receive the blessings that my Father in Heaven bestows upon me, and that I might be a better disciple of Jesus Christ. I am truly grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ in my life, and I try to live a better life every day.

How I live my faith

My faith is a way of life. I have learned that, as we are obedient to the laws, commandments, principles, and ordinances of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that my cup will continue to runneth over. I am an active member of my local congregation, and I am presently serving as the leader of our men’s organization. I am a firm believer in serving the children of our Heavenly Father, and thereby do a lot of service-oriented projects as needs arise. Being a good example and trying to emulate Jesus Christ in my life is important to me and something that I strive to be better at each day of my life. I am a better husband, father and person for living my religion each and every day of my life.
