Hi I'm Jenny

I've lived all over the U.S. I went to cosmetology school. I have five kids. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to create. One of my favorite outlets is creating hand dipped chocolates. The first time I made them I had so many I boxed them up and, sent them to my family for Mother's Day. They all melted in the sun in their shipping boxes. My family ate them anyway. Eventually I figured out how to get them there safely and, each time there is something new showing something else I've learned. I do it every year now as a Mother's Day tradition. I don't know who enjoys it more, me or my family that gets to eat them.

Why I am a Mormon

Asking why I'm a Mormon is like asking why I breath. Everything meaningful in my life is enhanced, healed, and made stronger when it's centered around my savior, Jesus Christ. My family, my marriage, my own sense of purpose and direction. I take great comfort knowing that I can make a difference in the lives of my children by teaching them the principles of this gospel. I feel like they have a chance to avoid the pitfalls that cause so many to fall short of their dreams. Like breathing, I just can't live without this church.

How I live my faith

I've just recently started serving with young children that are between 18 mos and 11 yrs old. I get to work to help the children feel and recognize the Holy Ghost through short lessons and through music. There is a wonderful and pure feeling with these children. I also serve by visiting women that are part of our congregation. I really enjoy this job because, it gives me a chance to get to know these women in a spiritual way. It's so nice to be able to connect with someone spiritually. It's like they become family.
