Hi I'm Renee

I have 6 children, two of which I adopted from Russia. I own a large child care center with my sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Three years ago my sister and I opened a childcare center with 10,000 square feet and no children. We have been greatly blessed and in 3 years we are almost completely full. I am just now trying to remember what fun feels like. I'm still learning to cut back on my work schedule. I am a mother of 6 and a grandmother of 10 (No that is not a typo). I have a thirteen year old daughter still at home with me. She is the light of my life right now and lately we've been learning to contra dance.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a life long member of the LDS faith. I only remember a brief time when my testimony wavered. My husband and I had lost our first child before she reached her 1st birthday. It was a time of great sorrow and confusion for me as far as needing to know "why". I leaned on others faith especially my father's at first. I spent time on my knees in prayer and reading the scriptures, and finally I found the peace I needed and the assurance that I will again be with my sweet child. Relying so heavily on the Lord so many years ago brought me to the understanding that he is there for me always. What a blessing to have gained that knowledge early in my life. I have still made many wrong choices, but I know my Heavenly Father loves me and that his son, my Savior, Jesus Christ died that I may be forgiven if I strive to do his will.

How I live my faith

I know that I am a daughter of God. I am trying my best to keep the commandments, so I can find happiness in my life and I know it will bring true happiness in the next life.
