Hi I'm Sharon

I love my life with a wonderful husband and family. I love working and serving in the community and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am blessed to have a wonderful husband who loves me and to have four great children that I adore. I love their spouses and our two amazing grandchildren and am so proud of all of them. I feel so privileged to work with children with special needs and feel that I gain gratitude and appreciation each day that I spend with them for so many simple things of life that we take for granted. I love working with the amazing teachers and paraprofessionals that love these children. I admire their calm, patient, and fun personalities. I love to sew, quilt, and create as well as read, listen to books, and continue in learning. I most enjoy being with my husband and family and knowing I can be with them for all eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a loving family of great Mormon heritage. Many of my ancestors were ostracized from their families, friends, and business associates for joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They left their homes and native lands to join the Saints in America. Both of my parents' families were early settlers in Southern Alberta, Canada where strong and courageous characters were built through hard work and dependence on our loving Heavenly Father and Savior. By way of desire and through the great examples of people that my life was intertwined with, I have been blessed with my own strong and sure testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ is true. I love knowing there is a God who loves me and a Savior who atoned for me. I love the strength I receive from my testimony of the Book of Mormon and other scriptures. I love having a prophet and leaders today as in days of old to teach and inspire me to know what God would have me do. I love the peace that I feel and the strength and courage that I receive from being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving all whom I meet and realize that we are all God's children whom He loves individually. I appreciate the differences as well as the similarities that we all have. I love serving others and trying to make their day brighter and easier in some way. I think and say positive things because I know that will help me be more Christ-like and bring a spirit of peace into my life and hopefully in the lives of others. I strive each day to let my husband and family know that I love them and care about them.
