Hi I'm Amelia.

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Alaska. I used to work in marketing, and now I'm a full-time mom to 4 extra cute kids.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a friend. I got my bachelors in my twenties in marketing, then worked for a few years in the IT industry, and now I'm at home full time with 4 little kids. Some days I would trade sweeping the kitchen 3x a day for designing annual reports, but most days, not. I enjoy exercising, cooking, hosting family/friend parties, playing with my kids, going to the pool, taking a Sunday walk, sewing without a pattern, shopping at Nordstrom, seeing a movie with my cute husband, and on the occasional month when the budget will allow - getting a pedicure. I appreciate and love my family and friends, I love my church, and I'm hopeful that the things I teach my kids will be remembered for years to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS Church, but at age 37 I choose to stay...for several reasons. First and foremost, I have a testimony of the gospel, and believe it to be the one true Church on the earth today. Second, it provides me the opportunity to have an eternal family. Third, there are no blurred lines on the values and morals its members are expected to uphold.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in the Public Affairs role within the Church, including planning social events and activities for the community.
