Hi I'm Barbara

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a widow of 17 years and have one daughter. I am from a family of 10. I was baptize when I was 12 but didn’t become active in the church until I was 17. I grew up in Phoenix Arizona until I was 28 when my husband decided we should move to a cooler place, so we moved to Sunnyvale California. We lived there until my husband died. Then my daughter and I moved in with my brother and his family in Rosemount Minnesota for one year. We then moved to Iron Mountain Michigan. When my daughter finished middle school we moved again to Stevensville Michigan. I moved back to Arizona in 2004 after my father died.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the concept of eternal families and can be with my family forever. I believe that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and he transcribed the Book Of Mormon from the golden plates hidden in the Hill Cumorah.

How I live my faith

My calling in the church is the Single Adult leader for those 31 and over.
