Hi I'm Janelle

I'm an Arizona native. I LOVE people! My family brings me more joy than can be measured. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've always been a very happy person. I truly think knowing who I am as a daughter of God has been the biggest contributer to my happiness. I love people and helping them know their importance in this life. A while back I decided that whenever I thought anything nice I needed to just say it to whoever it may be. There's been plenty of times I've told a stranger they have a beautiful smile or they smell good. I get some odd looks but most of the time a new friend! I've worked a lot with people with special needs. I feel that these are our Heavenly Fathers choice children. I feel closer to Him when I get to love them. I have always been into excersize. We've been given this one body for here on Earth, what a shame to not use it to the fullest! I love to run, swim, hike, dance, and anything else! I want to always be able to keep up with my nutty kids! I have an eternal marraige with a wonderful man that honors his priesthood and loves our growing family. My three kids are all 18months apart and the oldest is four! We are nuts around here but our motto is, "Joy in the Journey".

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. In the first 10-12 years of my life I was a Mormon because I was being obedient to my parents. Through the programs in the church and the classes I attended I started to obtain a sweet little testimony for myself. Now as I've grown older my testimony of the truthfulness of this amazing church has grown to be so strong. It is the foundation of my everyday life. It brings me so much happiness to know where I came from and where I'm going. To know that my Heavenly Father knows me and loves ME. I know that Jesus Christ lived a life that I need to exemplify. I know that he suffered and died on the cross in Gethsemane so that I can return to my Father in heaven. The power of the atonement is so real. I have felt it in my life. I love the temple! I know that because my sweet husband and I made the decission to marry in the temple that our family will be eternal. I feel my Saviors love so strongly in the temple. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is truly a church of joy, family, love, and eternal promise.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity of serving all over in the church. I have worked the most with young women ages 12-18. Few things make me happier than seeing a sweet daughter of God realize her potential and strength. I most recently have been serving with the children. I know why Jesus loves them so much! The amount of faith and love they have is amazing. I get to stand in front of the 200 children in my ward every Sunday and teach them the gospel. I try my hardest to show them how much their Heavenly Father loves them while also trying to keep them reverent (not the easiest job). It's so rewarding to see those little faces in their Sunday best excited to learn! I love serving in the church! I've made some of my closest friends while serving along side them. This church is so well organized that we serve and look out for each other. I get to visit a few women in my ward each month just to make sure life is going their way, and if it's not, I try to help however I can. My home is the most importanat place of all. My husband and I do all that we can to always have the feeling of love and family in our home. The blessings of our efforts show constantly. My children often ask me to tell them stories about Jesus or Noah or Jonah. I love it! We read our scriptures and say our prayers daily with our kids and love when thay just start learning to say their sweet prayers on their own! I am so grateful to be a Mormon. To know my Savior lives and loves me. To know that through Jesus Christ and his sacrifice I can return to my loving Father in Heaven. I love this gospel and know it is true.
