Hi I'm Todd

I'm a husband. I'm a father. I'm a nurse and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 5 children. I am a nurse manager of an outpatient surgery center. I assist in surgery. I love spending time with my kids and wife. I enjoy scuba diving, camping/hiking and gardening. I like riding my motorcycle and playing guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised a Mormon, I didn't always live by the standards of the gospel. In my late teens I had a few experiences that led me to know of the love that our Savior has for me as an individual. Subsequent to that, I decided to ask God if the things I was taught as a child were true. I received an answer to that prayer, and knew then, even after researching several different Christian and non-christian faiths that our Heavenly Father had a plan for us and the knowledge of that plan was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. The priesthood that Christ himself used on earth to perform miracles had been restored and is once again available to us to bless our lives. Our Heavenly Father even loves us enough to give us the guidance of a modern-day prophet who can give us advice and warning based on the world we live in now, not just the world that existed at the time of Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by volunteering my time to help out with the youth and a Boy Scout troop. I also try to adhere to the standards taught us by our modern prophets to be an example to those around me. I try to teach my children that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us to become like him and there is more to life than just the daily rat race. My wife and I try to teach them that with self control and the help of our Savior, we can overcome all the evil that exists in the world. We don't need to fear if we walk with God.
