Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon, born and raised. Lived my entire life in Mesa, Arizona.

About Me

I'm 6' 6", I played volleyball in high school when I was not swamped by my classes or my music programs. Grew up having a passion for work, to look back at a day and see all that I had accomplished. I also enjoyed a refreshing swim after a long day, and have always had an affinity to watersports. I have a strong interest with how things work, and I loved and still really enjoy taking things apart and fixing them. I am hoping to pursue a career in Mechanical engineering after I return home from my mission. I leave in February, 2014 to the Atlanta Georgia North mission. I am so honored to be able to go an serve the people in Georgia and be able to help and teach them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of the LDS faith, and throughout my years of growing up I began to notice that I was often times a little bit different from other kids my age. I would sometimes stand out, and I was ok with that. I began to realize that it was how I live my life that made me different. I know that being a member of this church has taught me the merit of being more responsible, centered, outgoing, and reliable. But most importantly it has given me a purpose; and a commonality with other people that has allowed me to reach out and influence others.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings through my youth, from being the secretary to the president in various quorums. I attend church every Sunday and try my best to make it to all of my meetings. I am currently preparing to leave on a two year service mission to Atlanta Georgia North. I was also heavily involved in Boy Scouts growing up. I received my eagle at 15, and have been participating as a leader in various camps and aquatic centers since then.
