Hi I'm Norma Vineyard

I live in the country. I'm retired after working 35 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 6, great grandmother of 9. They are sort of scattered so I get to travel a lot because of that. I have been a widow for almost 8 years. I am blessed with good health and love doing crossword puzzles. I also write poetry.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church at the age of 36. I went to several other churches growing up, but the Mormon church had everything my heart had been yearning for. I love the Book of Mormon and how it compliments the Bible. It is wonderful how the members love and take care of each other.

How I live my faith

I am currently a secretary in the ladies auxiliary and love planning activities for the women. I try to read my scriptures or other good books every day. I try very hard to be a good example to my family and friends. I truely love the Lord.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Norma Vineyard
We try and help all of those in need. Last year the women of the local church had an evening where we worked on several things that were delivered to different charitable organizations in our immediate location. We made blankets for Head Start, pillow cases and door signs for a childrens hospital, and we brought toiletries that were donated to the home for battered women. We also collected coats and those went to the mens and womens rescue mission. We help our neighbors whether they are members or not. Our love of our fellow man is far reaching. Show more Show less
